Looking for a law firm job is hard – and especially during the pandemic!

The first thing my attorney clients do if they are seeking a new job is to call their favorite legal recruiter. Listen: If you are not in a hot specialty, or not in the preferred class year, or have no portable business as a senior attorney, please don’t hold your breath and expect a miracle from your recruiter. Oh, I take that back. The best recruiters can perform miracles and “spin hay into gold.” So, network, scour job search websites, and reach out proactively to organizations who do what you do. As my grandfather Sol would say, “Don’t wait for your ship to come in…head out with a tug boat and bring it in.”
